Tourist voucher
We invite you to read the most important information about the Polish Tourist Voucher. It aims to support both the tourism industry in the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and financially weakened Polish families who are also feeling the effects of the pandemic.
What is a Tourist Voucher?
The voucher is a tool and a form of support for families and companies that suffer the effects of the pandemic. Regardless of the income, any family with at least one child under 18 can benefit. The amount of such support is 500 PLN for each child. However, children with a disability certificate are entitled to a voucher in the amount of 1,000 PLN
How and where to use the voucher?
With the help of the voucher, you can make payments for hotel services or tourist events carried out by a tourist entrepreneur or public benefit organization throughout the country. It can be used, among others, for a stay in a hotel, guest house, campground or agritourism farm.
A package travel is to be understood as a combination of at least two different types of travel services for the same trip or vacation. In this way, it is possible to finance, for example, a child’s stay at a “green school”, summer camp, or a scouting, sports or recreational camp, both in summer and winter.

Does the voucher have an expiry date?
Yes, the voucher can be used no longer than March 31, 2022 or until the funds are exhausted. The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash.
How to activate the voucher?
The voucher will be generated in the system after registering on the ZUS Electronic Services Platform (PUE ZUS), similar to the 500+. It is easy to register using m.in. Trusted Profile, qualified electronic signature and thanks to some online banking. The voucher will be activated after the data is correctly accepted. It will be a unique 16-digit number that will be sent via the telephone number or e-mail address provided by the person. The code / number will need to be shown during the booking or accommodation. The confirmation of the reservation will be sent to the indicated telephone number with the code confirming the payment.
The most important information for tourism entrepreneurs or public benefit organizations
To join the program, you must register on the ZUS Electronic Services Platform (PUE ZUS) and submit a declaration. Then the following data is provided:
name and surname, name or company;
address of residence – if you represent a tourist entrepreneur who is a natural person, address of the registered office – if you represent a legal person or an organizational unit without legal personality, which has legal capacity under a separate act, business address – if the place of providing hotel services or offering packages is different from the address of residence or registered office;
NIP number – in the case of a natural person conducting business activity, in the case of a legal person or in the case of an organizational unit without legal personality, PESEL number – in the case of a natural person not conducting business activity, and in the case of its absence – the type, number and series of the document confirming identity;
information about the entry in: the relevant records referred to in art. 38 sec. 1-3 of the Act of August 29, 1997 on hotel services and services of tour leaders and tourist guides or the relevant register referred to in Art. 22 sec. 2 of the Act of November 24, 2017 on package travel and related travel services;
entry number in the National Court Register or information on entry in the Central Register and Information on Economic Activity – if the tourist entrepreneur or public benefit organization is subject to entry in this register or records;
information on offering hotel services or tourist events;
bank account number maintained in the Republic of Poland in Polish zlotys, assigned to the activity performed;
e-mail address assigned to the activity performed;
telephone number assigned to the activity performed;
name and surname of the person registering, authorized to represent a tourist entrepreneur or a public benefit organization.
After registering, the entrepreneur or organization must provide a note that they accept payment with the Tourist Voucher.
ZUS will make the transfer within 14 days of accepting the payment with the voucher. Payment is made to the account provided during registration on the ZUS Electronic Services Platform, while returns obtained for unused vouchers referred to in art. 7 of the Act, will be made to a separate account of the Polish Tourist Organization kept at Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, number 74 1130 1017 0020 1417 3620 0010. The funds should be returned to this account immediately after receiving the transfer from ZUS, entering in the title of the transfer the number of the voucher from which they were taken .
